Walk for a Cure  See the Shirt You can help us get the word out that early cancer detection saves lives. You can contribute to the fight against breast and other cancers by participating in Walk For A Cure. You can help raise funds and awareness for the fight against these life threatening diseases as well as celebrate survivorship, and honor those who have lost their battle against cancer. Community Memorial Hospital of Staunton and the Staunton Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring this event with all donations going to the American Cancer Society. The walk is scheduled for Saturday September 18, 2010. Registration begins at 8:30am at Staunton Bike Trail in Staunton. The walk begins at 9am at Staunton Bike Trail and the route will end there as well.  There will be a speaker from the American Cancer Society. In 2010, August, October, December. 2 classes held 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. Call Stacy Schuette at 618-635-4214 to register.
