Community Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department provides excellent care 24 hours a day for emergencies of all sizes and for all ages.

Our Emergency Team has physicians and nurses who are specifically trained in the management of critically ill or injured patients. The Physician/Nurse Team is certified in Advanced Cardiac and Advanced Pediatric Life Support. The department is fully equipped to provide necessary treatment and stabilization of adults and children. Our Emergency Department is recognized by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program as an “Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics”. Our little patients are a big part of our goals to continuously improve the care we provide.

We have recently added a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to our care team. This new addition will serve as a liaison between patients, families, and Care Teams.
